Summer Lovin', Had me a blast.

This shall be my first statement ---- I don't miss school.
You see, the way I view the whole social aspects of school is that I don't need it to make friends, or to hang out with them. If they are actually my friends, I will hang out with them no matter what, I don't need an allotted time for us to both be in a room, learning the same thing.

I have definitely been enjoying the daily sleep-ins and late night facebook lerking.

However, this evening is an Issue I need to address-- hairdressers.

Last weekend I went to go get my hair trimmed and layered. I have been growing my hair out since grade eight, and so in four years I got it pretty long. It was all the way down my back and almost to my butt. I was quite happy with it.
But, it is summer after all and I have naturally thick hair, so i figured a trim was in order. This is excally what I asked for: Half and Inch off the bottom, layered throughout, and front bangs. Sounds simple enough? yes?
Apparently not for the hairdresser who chose to tell me half way through the haircut that it was her first day at a new job and she was fresh out of hair school--- great.
At first she started off taking half and inch off the bottom-- which was good, thats what I asked for, But i guess she started to run into problems when she started to layer it. Overall she took off about six to seven inchs of the length. Yikes. And when she cut my bangs, she cut them waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too short-- and they aren't even even.

So i guess my next task is to find a hairdresser I can trust--
Here is a before and after shot of my hair---

XO Sarah (I guess)
